Privacy notice
How Avori Managed Websites uses personal information, in plain English. Last updated 4 October 2026.
Who we are
Avori Managed Websites ("Avori", "we") is a website design and care business based in Harrow, North West London. We are responsible for the personal information described here. You can contact us about it at [email protected].
What we collect and why
| Information | Why we use it | Lawful basis |
|---|---|---|
| Your name, business name, website and message, when you ask for a demo or email us | To reply to you and prepare your demo | Our legitimate interest in responding to your request |
| Business contact details that a business has published itself, such as a phone number or email on its website or Google listing | To research local businesses and, where the law allows, to get in touch about a website demo by email, phone or post. We check the Telephone Preference Service before calling. | Our legitimate interest in offering our services to local businesses |
| Contact details and records for our clients | To build, host and look after your website, and to keep business and tax records | Our contract with you, and legal obligations |
When you use the demo request form, it opens your own email app with your message ready to send. Nothing is sent or stored until you choose to send that email.
Marketing and how to say no
We only send cold emails to limited companies, using an address the business has published itself. Every email tells you how to opt out. If you reply "no" or ask us to stop, we will not contact you again, and we keep a note so that it stays that way.
Who we share it with
We don't sell personal information. We use a small number of trusted providers to run our business:
- Cloudflare, which hosts this website and forwards email sent to our address
- Google, which provides our email and the fonts used on this website
- Notion, where we keep notes on the businesses we work with and research
- Anthropic, whose software helps us research businesses and build websites
- GitHub, where we store the code and working files for the websites we build
- cdnjs and jsDelivr, which deliver some of the code used on our homepage
Each of these providers also receives basic technical information, such as your IP address, when it delivers its service. Some of them may process information outside the UK. Where they do, they rely on safeguards recognised under UK data protection law.
Cookies
This website does not set cookies for advertising or tracking. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. It doesn't use cookies or follow you across other websites. When a page loads, your browser also fetches our fonts from Google, which receives your IP address to deliver them.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries and research notes for up to two years after our last contact, unless you become a client. For clients, we keep records for as long as we look after your website, and business records afterwards in line with HMRC record-keeping rules. Opt-out requests are kept indefinitely so we can respect them.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, ask for it in a portable format, or ask us to stop contacting you. Email [email protected] and we will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We would appreciate the chance to put it right first.
See your new website before you buy.
Tell us about your business and we'll prepare a private demo of your new website. No obligation, and no cost to look.
